I think I paid about $800 out of $10,000+ costs in testing & durable medical equipment (my c-pap).<br />On the other hand, I had a 5 day stay in a psych hospital in 2001. I had insurance, but they ruled it a pre-existing condition (which was true). They paid zero. I just finished paying off that bill last year - at $50 a month for 10 years.
